slow heart Rhythm

I'm 30 years old, not verry active, slightly over weight woman. My cardiologist gave me bisoprolol because I have about 20 000 pvc a day even if my blood presure is already low. I have been taking the bisoprolol for about a month and a half now. I don't feel my pvc's as much as before, but my blood presure did drop some more it's now around 111/65 most of the time, but what worry me the most is my heart rate! For the last few days it stands between 34 pbm and 56 pbm and blood pressure machine says that it's not irregular.

Is this normal or dangerous?

I understand, maybe you should discuss the dosage of beta blockers with your doctor. It sounds like you should (but do NOT change this without asking the doctor..)

Thanks for your answer. I will try to get hold of my cardiologist as soon as possible or even my doctor. I would like to know how much pvc's I have now to! My main symptom is extrem fatigue, and a feeling that I'm going to pass out. I noticed that 34 pbm is mostly at when I'm at rest and 56 is when I do some work around the house or take a walk. I sometime need to stop when I do something because I'm to dissy!

56 bpm is normal. 34 bpm is not normal. Do you have symptoms with that heart rate? Does it increase properly with exercise?

You should tell your cardiologist about your slow heart rate. Maybe your dose of beta blocker is too high? It's good that your heart rate is not irregular.

If your blood pressure is lowered to 111/65 you didn't have low blood pressure. You had normal blood pressure, and you still do.

By the way, how many PVCs do you have after taking beta blockers? Would be interesting to know.
