suddenly

i am a 22 year old average guy, who does average day to day things. for the past 6 months i have been drinking alcohol on a daily bases, in cases of no food consumption. none have been a bother. 9 days ago i got this overwhelming feeling in my gut, sharp pains from my brain flow down my back. my heart rate increased, my tongue got a weird sensation, my temperature went down, i felt disoriented and scared. my heart was so fast you could see my pulse. i overcame that moment. a couple of days later i was sitting down again drinking, not so much, when the same sensation arose, this time i called ems. they told me vitals were fine, that a panic attack is the cause, to take breathing exercises if this happens again. it did the next day, exercises worked i guess, i still felt i needed to see a doctor. i went she said my bp was 144/89 heart rate 69. ekg was fine but i had a few premature heart beat, she felt maybe panic is a reason, but recommended me to get a full exam. i am worried about my heart, dying, my brain. does any of this sound like a panic attack?
seriously worried.

Josh,
I can see why you would get scared when this happens but where your Dr. felt this maybe caused by a panic attack and and the Ems said the same thing, I wouldn't get too worked up.  If it were me, I could make an appt, for a complete physical and discuss everything again with your Dr. I'm sure you'll get to the bottom of this and will feel a lot better after your check-up. I also would recommend cutting back on your alcohol intake because I'm sure that's not helping the situation .  Good luck.
