the omron digatal blood p moniters??

are they very accurate?? i use mine alot..then the squad came a few times cuz my blood p spiked up..the paramedic said you cant go by those..well my whole family has one..when they put theres on me its always higher than mine because of them just being here?? if there not correct  then they do show change..mine can read 140/80..then 20 min later be  135/72  so it does seem accute to me!!  let me know  ur input  thanks james

I had wondered the exact same thing about my Auto BP device. It was off by 20mm verses Manual Readings.

So to my bewilderment, I never knew there were soo many BP devices out there! Even more ridiculous was the various models and prices from the same manufacturer!

I turned to Consumer Affairs for the answers. I've found that Microlife Model BP3MC1-PC was rated 91% accurate. There was one other brand that was 92% accurate.

I settled for 91% and purchased it new on eBay for a great price!

I have had them, and I found them to be very accurate. I took it to my docs, and they measured it with theirs and it was right on target.

I have an omron and mine is accurate. I had my EP check it when I got it and the readings matched with the reading she did in her office. My EP is the one who suggested  I get one of these monitors.
