Blood in rectum

After having a bowel movement I saw mucus and bright to light red blood in my stool also after wiping. My wife check me and she found red dots in my rectum. What can this be? Also I am having some cramping in my abdominal area.

Bright red blood is usually hemorrhoids, and not usually a cause for concern. If you are still bleeding, now a month later, you should see your doctor.

The cramping wouldn't be from hemorrhoids, though. If you are still having that, definitely see your doctor.
