Do I have Hemorrhoids?

Hi, the other day I noticed a slight pain in my anal area when going to the toilet, and discovered a small lump on the right wall a couple of inches inside, where the anus begins to get narrower. It is quite a hard lump and when I go to the toilet there is a very small amount of very light coloured blood on the toilet paper. I'm wondering if this is potentially Hemorrhoids or something else? It doesn't hurt when sat down but does slightly when sitting down, when that specific area of my anus is moving around (which isn't often).

Thanks

Hemorrhoids usually don't feel hard to the touch, but, otherwise, it sounds like a hemorrhoid.  The fact that the blood is light colored suggests that the bleeding is occurring somewhere near your anus (which is good - if the blood was a dark color, that would indicate that you were bleeding internally).

Try increasing your fiber intake, and, instead of toilet paper, take a sitz bath (squat in a few inches of warm water, soak for a few minutes, and wash yourself gently).  If the bleeding doesn't stop within a few days, you should call your doctor to make sure it's nothing more serious.
