Hemorrhoidectomy hyper granulation tissue cauterization healing process

I had a hemorrhoidectomy over a month ago. Went to a check up and found out I have hyper granulation tissue that's causing my wound to not finish healing. So I have to have another procedure. They are going to cut off most of the tissue then use silver nitrate to cauterize the wound. My question is, I just went through a very painful experience with my first procedure will this second one be worse? What's the average healing time? Is there anything I can expect? I just feel lost and cant find answers anywhere. Thanks ahead for the help.
