Hemorrhoids around the anus with no unpleasantries other than aesthetics?

I'm a 28yo male, no underlying health conditions, no history of disease. Today I decided to snap a few pictures of my anus because I wanted to make sure I look good down there before starting using this area for sexual play (never did that before) and to my surprise, I found something that looked like hemorrhoids: https://imgur.com/a/TnIxuzK on the photos. I was really surprised cause I don't have any problems with pain or itchiness in that area and I only remember two or three occurrences of there being any bleeding after defecating during the past years and I always just attributed it to a lot of wiping as it came and went on its own.

I'm not obese, I excercise quite a lot and have been for years. At the same time though, I like to sit for a long time in the loo which I read isn't a good idea and I have an office job so I sit at my desk for hours at a time.

Does it look like hemorrhoids? Is there anything I can do about them to make them go away at home? Should I apply some cream or something? I read that I should consume more fiber so I'll get on that through maybe using some flaxseed to my breakfasts but other than that, can I do something else to help it not look as gross as it does? :)

Hello and welcome to the forum. Thank you so much for your question and we apologize for a delay in response. The MOST common way for hemorrhoids to occur is by straining during a bowel movement.  https://www.healthline.com/health/external-hemorrhoids  You can copy and paste this article for reference to this fact. Usually they are uncomfortable. I am glad yours are not uncomfortable or causing any blood loss.  But you can see them, so you know they are there. There are over the counter products to try.  And you could start that on your own. If they do not improve, then see your doctor.  These include things like preparation H cream. You are on the right track to think about adding more fiber to your diet and occasionally using stool softeners (different than laxatives).  Speak to your doctor about this. Do you have a physical coming up?
