Hep A

I started feeling sick in mid-late September. October 9 I was admitted to the hospital with my liver enzymes "thru the roof" to quote the ER doctor. I believe they were up to 6,000. I was in the hospital for 6 days until my numbers started to come down. Last week I had my blood taken and my doctor said that my numbers should be normal and when I asked what if they aren't she said "we will have to do some further investigating". Well, my blood test results were emailed to me and they are not normal, they are about 100 points above the normal range. I'm waiting for the doctor to call but should I be worried that they aren't normal yet??

Hello, welcome to our website and the forum.  Sorry for a delay in response.  Has there been any update to the situation? You were previously diagnosed with Hep A? What did your doctor say about the elevation above normal? Has it improved since?  https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/hepatitis-a/symptoms-causes/syc-20367007
