MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello and welcome!
Oral-anal sex with someone infected with hepatitis A can expose you to the hepatitis A virus. There is high risk of hepatitis A in men who have sex with other men and people who have oral-anal sexual contact are at an increased risk for getting hepatitis A .Use of condoms can help prevent this risk. Hepatitis A can be transmitted rarely by infected blood or blood products. There are no chances of transmission of hepatitis A through saliva or urine. Do write to us again with more queries.
Take care and good luck!
