hep A yellow urine

Hi. I visited thailand in may and was always eating food from street stalls as I like my food.

A couple of days when I got back my urine was yellow. Sort of golden but never tea coloured.

even after three months I still have golden urine. I drink lots of water and it dilutes to a pale straw colour but never clear. I did develope aches and pains also.

I drink alcohol 4 days a week and eat lots of fatty food.

Could this be slowing my recovery?? And does it sound like hep A?? Thanks

I think you should ask for a hep A test from your doctor. Sorry I said Hep C.  I believe that's what you asked on the Hep c forum.  One again,  get a vaccination for A & B.  I know that in the United States its recommended before traveling to other countries.  It might even be required so your not bringing it back into our country.

If you think that there is any chance you might have exposed yourself to Hepatitis C then go get tested.  that would be the best way to know for sure.
It's sounds like what was told to you on a different medhelp forum....it could be the results of something you ate that turns you urine a different color.
