Hi,
I was diagnosed with Hep A 8 weeks ago. Though I am over the worst I still feel tired and lethargic. I have lost 8lbs in weight. I read that it can take between 6 weeks - 6 months to get fully fit. It has made me feel fed up and depressed lately cause you want to get back to the same level of fitness. My clothes are very loose on me and going out even for a walk is daunting as I do not want to come across familiar faces.
I don't know if you will experience the same as me but its been hell for me. You will need someone to look after you for a while.
Your liver will need to be monitored by your Gp regularly.
I am sure the Public health officer will contact you once you have been diagnosed. You have all the information at their disposal. Main treatment is rest, drink fruit juice, water but no alcohol!! watch out for itchiness.. use moisturiser and keep your skin hydrated..tc , hope you feel better quickly..

Hello, welcome to the forum.  I am sorry no one has answered your question.
The best thing you can do is rest, drink plenty of water.
Don't eat any fried or greasy foods.  It will help your liver recover from the Hepatitis.  I would not eat red meat as it is hard on your liver.
Dry to eat lots of vegetables fruits, fish, chicken.
There is not treatment other than rest.
