HEPATITIS B. I NEED TO KNOW THE CATEGORY OF MY INFECTION

hello everybody.

i have donated blood 2 month ago and i result positive to hepatitis B.the result was HBsAg Q2 608.84 S/co. i want to know if i have to warry. i have hepatitis B at least from one year ago, because i have made another donation but they make an error with the phone number and i have learn thi thing only 1 month ago.

Yes, Hepatitis B is a sexually transmitted disease. Use protection or get your partner vaccinated.

another thing is that i have heard that i can transmit hep B by having sex. how possibility i have to transmit hep b? is better to use protection?

Yes. Hepatitis B can go through different phases, so regular checkup is important. The usual tests are:
1. Liver functions test (liver panel)
2. hbvdna (viral load)

See a liver specialist and be monitored by him/her.

ALT is 19? If it is 19, then it is a very good ALT. You really should have a complete liver functions test and hbvdna. Otherwise, based on your ALT, your hepatitis does not seem to be active at the moment.

those are the results. Bilirubina mg/dl 0.41. Gbt(ALT) UI/1  9. GOT (AST) 31. Gama gytamil transpepthdaza (GGT) 22. As i see everything is  normal. But i would like every opinion. Thank yo

All we know is that you have chronic Hepatitis B. The Q2 608.84 S/co has no meaning. So we need more information, such as, ALT, AST, hbvdna, HbeAg status, etc before we can give you our opinions.
