HBsAg quantitaive from 19 IU/ml to 13.4 IU/ml then 16 IU/ml and then 20.23 IU over last 18 months

Started with
-PEG interferon 180 mcg once weekly  
-Vit D

after 5 inj and ALT 103 which had always been previously normal

After 11 inj ALT 70 and HBsAg 18 IU/ml

After 23 inj peg Alt is 42 and HBsAg is 0.21 IU/ml  quantitative

Now at 09 months on pegasys ALt 42

HBsAg 0.05 IU/ml
AntiHBs 5.6

What to do next

Continuing with pegasys. Now no sides except for its cost. Will complete 48 weeks treatment at the end of this month. Will do hbsag in iu/ml and hbsab. Whats the role of vaccine now

i think between a minimum of 3 to 6 months still needed

you should continue pegintf because hbsag is not und yet and hbsab is not 100-200miu/ml, you are very close to it i think additional 24 weeks will consolidate hbv clearance

this is very important because even when hbsag goes und there is still a lot of it and only high hbsab can neutralize it.if you stop now you may relapse

The quantitative HBsAg was 0.05 and the test says it can detect upto 0.05 IU/ml . It means its not negative

Anti HBs antibody was 0.56  2 years ago and now its 5.6
