ALT - AST normalization and ANTI-HBS rise.

Hello HBVers :)

I have done whole the tests today. Important ones will be resulted next week.

Today I got ALT - AST results and ANTI-HBS.

P.S. I am on Entecavir treatment for 9 months.

I think the decrease in HBSAG qualitative is meaningless because it has no unit. I will HBSAG quantity result next week.

The doctor did not tell anything. He waits for the coming test results.

1 no it has no meaning, less than 10miu/ml is negative

2 nothing ast-alt without hbsag quantitative in iu/ml have no meaning too

your hbsag qualitative test is also useless, chronic patients can only have hbsag quantitative in iu/ml as a useful test

i remark that there is a decrease of hbs ag from 4000 to 912
And an increase of hbsab has a meaning you were totaly negative and now 7 hope in few days or monthes will rise more,be patient,just normaly your alat should be high at this stage?
And give us your newswhat your doc says?

Unfortunately, HBSAG qualitative test result is positive 912 (it was 438 and then rise to 4000 and then decrease to 912 in 9 months).

The HBSAG quantity test will be resulted next week.

good news u r slowly clearing, was the hbsag positive or negative.

hbsab less than 10miu/ml is negative and any number below is that useless and common on chronic carriers

in any case if hbsag is not undetactable or extremely low it is useless to check hbsab

your anti hbs is positive now ? I think this is good to pe positive, you may clear the virus, but don't quote me on that...also , alt and ast may be jumping because the liver is fighting with the virus .
