Almonds and Hepatitis B


Somebody positive with Hep B can eat almonds ? or almond products?

Hey I ate loads of nuts like almonds, hazlenuts and walnuts in order to boost my immune system. Doc told me this was very healthy. However, I must say I did put on a bit of weight as a result lol

In fact I asked my doc if there was anything at all that was bad for me whilst waiting to clear HBV and he said nope...only alcohol and cigs. I was concerned about coffee but even was told that this was in fcat good for the liver.

I guess it's all about common sense. Nothing except alcohol is really that bad. However we should all be aiming to eat as healthy a diet as possible no matter whether we have HBV or not.

why not !!   a good source of fiber too i think . i like almonds
