Am I Hepa B carrier or Hepa B acute?

Hi guys! so here's my situation. I completed my Hepa B vaccine last 2006 and at the same time did my blood work resulting negative for Hepa and HIV. Fast forward now, Last two months I donated blood thinking that I'm healthy and there's nothing going on in my blood.  Couple weeks after I received a letter saying that I'm Hepa B positive. I was in shocked and confused at that moment because I thought that I'm protected and would never get this kind of infection. Last time I had sex with my ex was last year and also never had sexual intercourse to any guy whatsoever. My result says that I am HBsAg (ELISA)= Reactive, Anti-HBc (ELISA) ORTHO= Reactive and HBV-NAT (NUCLEIC ACID TEST)= Reactive. My primary doctor also did some blood work and she confirmed that hepa B positive and my liver enzymes were normal. She gave me referral to a gastroenterologist for further test. I'm just worried now about my situation and trying to be positive. Any suggestions or opinion on what you guys think I have???Do you guys think that this is just an acute or am i Hepa B carrier? Thanks for your help guys!

1-Did you take all the vaccins normaly?
2-Before vaccination did you test for hbsag?
3-After vaccination ,did you test for hbsab later ? ie 1or 2  years  later ?

''Last time I had sex with my ex was last year and also never had sexual intercourse to any guy whatsoever.''' You meant during the vaccination periode you had no sexual intercourse  ,?

this is really unfortunate. To get info for a carrier or acute infection u need to do anti hbc igm and also check hbeag. Seeing ur above test results which are incomplete to predict ur status it still seem u r a carrier as acute infections do not have normal liver enzymes and u had sexual contact last year which seem to be the source of infection if u were not infected in childhood by other means. It can be only said u were infected through ur boyfriend is when u know u weren't infected in childhood for which u need to have a poof of being negative that time. Do check the hbsag status of ur mother. It can be possible that ur boyfriend may check himself to be hbsag as he might have transmitted u during an acute stage and then have cleared it. Many unfortunate people sustain chronic hbv in adult infections too.
