Anti-HBSAG levels in blood after vaccine x month(s) after?

Anyone knows the level of ANTI-HBSAG on one's blood on the ff months after the INITIAL shot?

Will the 1st shot create "enough" ANTI-HBSAG 1 month after? 2 months? 3 months?

Im asking because my GF got her 1st shot a month ago and she's going to be sent to a business trip outside the country and that means her 2nd and succeeding shot will be postponed. Just wanted to know her anti-body levels.

Will a month after her 1st shot create enough anti-bodies in her blood?

Thanks in advance

Hi PinoyHBVDNA,
I don't know the answer to your question regarding the Precore mutant strain. You can call the CDC at the 800 number below and hopefully they can answer your questions.

Call 1-800-232-4636 (1-800-CDC-INFO)

One shot is not enough to boost immunity or to be fully protected. When is she due for the second booster? Perhaps she can get the shot somewhat early? You really need all three shots and sometimes four depending on the person. To be sure she should get the blood tested after the 3rd shot.
