if you made hbv vaccine you need a boost to make it higher than 10
if you haven t done any hbv vaccine you should check all hbv markers since you got in touch with hbv.a flase positive is very difficult and only with very old assays but they usually do not detect anything at low values
yes it is a good sign but every patient has a different profile, so it can be a very good sign or nothing
are you on drugs or it is immune system clearing?
was it birth infection or adult?
do you have all markers with hbcab igm and hbvdna pcr too?
i didn t see it was hbsag quantitative, you are clearing 100% if it is 3.2iu/ml, where did you get hbsag quantification in US, many members are looking for a lab to make this test
follow hbsag in iu/ml and hbsab very closely every month and if you see hbsag always the same after 3 months or increasing you can try ntz to make it negative but attention only if you see there is no change in 2-3 months
I am now in Vietnam. I got the HBsAg Quantitative Test and it was 3.2 ui/ml a month ago. I did an annual checkup yesterday and try to check Anti-HBS and it is 6.28 NEG (positive >=10 mUI/ml). My doctor said I can be cured and in the next 3 months, I can take vaccination. I don't know whether this is about seroconversion.
I got infected with HBV 11 years ago. Right now I eat Tenofovir and Lamivudine everyday. I used to take thymomodulin - A good medicine to strengthen your immune system.
increadible in US they are much less advanced than vietnam and china on hbv tests, yesterday there is a member asking for a doctor in vietnam, she definitely needs indications from you for a doctor, this is the post:
Tenofovir and Lamivudine, this is a very good combo especially because tenofovir will prevent lam resistance and effect of lam on hbsag can be much superior than tnf.
what about thymomodulin - A (it should be thimosin alpha or simialar) did it work a little on lowering hbsag?when did you stop it?is it possible to buy it online since it is not available in US and europe?
how long on tenofovir+lam combo and how long on thymosin?
at this point i'd suggest:
since you are already on drug adding nitazoxanide is very good, you should seroconvert in a couple of weeks, check our posts about alinia, with 2g daily me and another member of the group had 2000-2500iu/ml hbsag decrease, since you are only 3.2iu/ml the result should be almost immediate.the name of compound is nitazoxanide and itsmain perscription is for diarrea due to rotaviruses and parassites, in india the generics are called nizonide500 or nitarid
anyway you are going to seroconvert 100% even without ntz.
I got infected in 1999 when I had my tooth treatment. I was then treated with vitamins. After 6 months, I became a chronic patient. I had to eat Lamivudine in over 3 years. Then the doctor stopped the treatment. 3 years later, I did an annual check up and found some enzymes AST, ALT at a very high level. I went to see my doctor again and my HBV is active again. From then I had to take Hepsera + Lamivudine + Thymolan in about 3.5 years. The status was good then. My HBsAg quantitative went down to under 10 UI/ml. Then the doctor change Hepsera (adefovir dipivoxil) with Tenofovir. Now My HBsAg quantitative is 3.2 UI/ml.
I took Thymomodulin 80mg for about 2 years and it seems the medicine has changed my immune system to against HBV effectively. I am not sure you can get such medicine in the States, but in Vietnam you can get it easily.
My doctor is very good at liver treatment. Her name is doctor Thuy. I am sure you can have good treatments with her in VN. I am willing to help you guys to have treatments with her. Just contact me. I am willing to help you guys without any requests.
the main reason of vaccine is boost your initial hbsab titer, your doctor is very good and updated, there is a single case of a patient under lamivudine without resistance after many years and he had started a level of hbsab very very low, don t remember exactly the number but in the 0.
the vaccine shot series made hbsab very high in a couple of months
talk about alina to your doctor and all data posted here and the small romark trial results, if hbsag is ony 3.2iu/ml you can make it negative for sure
do you know if it is the same as zadaxin from shiclone ph, these type of drugs have no sides and are approved from long time in asia and europe while US did not, i guess too much money requested to get fda approval, but since these drugs have no sides at any dose that's pretty stupid from fda
i think my doctors made trials on it, it boosted interferon response a little in the trials, it is quite expensive here.i dont think i will ever try it but it is good to know all drugs
This is Ha, I'm a Hvb carrier too, my condition is not going worst now. But It is always make my worry .Please give me the phone or address of of Dr.Thuy so i can contact with her to ask some help.I know in the State had a lot of research about HVB but the medicine like Thymomodulin is not approve for treat HVB yet. I will come back to VN to see her. "Bac sy Thuy o dau vay Anh Tam?"
P.S can i have your Email so i can ake more detail
Yeah Stefano. Here in the states doctors hate zadaxin. They say it does not work. Only TDF and ETV is in style. Because these companies pay good for prescribing this. You just really have no idea how corrupted the health system is. It has no human face to it. All they care is about money.
