Can I marry a Hep B carrier?

My boyfriend is a Hep B carrier. I am

vaccinated from Hep B.

My parents strongly against our relationship.
My parents think vaccination has no guarantee

and if i am married to my boyfriend, me and my

baby will get infected.

Parents commented that my bf being a carrier

carries a liver disease. He has short life span

and can die anytime because Hep B is

symptomless.

Also, they commented that my bf DNA will be

altered due to Hep B.

Please help me to scrap my parents illogical

comment.

90% of healthy adults who are infected will "recover" and be completely rid of the virus within six months.

I found out that i am hbv cariet when i was 41, being married for 20 years having two children. Both children are healthy and vaccinated my wife has markers of accute infection in the past, probably got it from me long ago when i did not know that i was infected, but she never had any symptoms.

Hbv has no effect on human reproduction.
