Echogenicity of Liver

I had my ultrasound 2 years ago which said hyrperechoic and coarsened echotexture, my last ultra sound said increased hepatic echotexture. Latest one is saying liver is heterogeneous in echotexture. What's the difference between coarsened, increased and heterogeneous echotexture? Or they are same thing just different doctors describing them differently?

Hi, if you go to the same place each time they compare the last one to the current.
At least that is how mine is done.

Take care

Yes, that worries me a lot, I also had a biopsy 2 years ago and it said mild steatosis ~10%. After that I am on Entecavir with undetectable HBV DNA and lost ~20 pounds, also increased vit D 25OH from 20 to 40 NG/ml. I am having these ultrasound every 6 months and I will be seeing my doctor after 6 months so wondering if it is getting better, worse or same?

the most important fact is that you have fatty liver and that is worst than hbv because it makes damage to the liver and all other organs too.

the reason is processed food, vitamin d deficnecy
