Entry inhibitors show promise as drugs

Entry inhibitors like REP9 AC and Myrcludex-B are promising as they are the only drugs that offer a complete CURE for Hepatitis B compared to immune modulators like Pegasys and Anti-virals like Entecavir... I think more research and concentration should be diverted to release inhibitor drugs as they seem to be promising and appropriate....

recession is a big problem all over the place and this recession came also because the research was not one priority, but this can be takeover investing more in research and i think that this will be the case in the next years.

we hope that they will manage to rise the founds and move on to the next step. Exist only 2 scenario, a patient association that will sport this and start to manufacture or they will be takeover by a big pharma and this pharma company will found the necessary money.

recession is also a big problem, if they will be able to move to asia, which is the real rich part of the world now, we may see some light in the next years

A couple of years is too optimistic, even 4 or 5...The company is really small and in need of funding. By the way, the drug has been discovered 9 or 10 years ago! That should give you an idea...

Rep9Ac is in phase I/II so will be couple of years until this will be available and also some other technical (founds, market ...) problems have to be resolved. Replicor is a small company and they need huge founds to advance in this research and to manufacture the drugs.
So we can see are a lot of variables, so no number can be advance, but it is a good thing that the research, even is is on a low speed is going forward.

Well, not soon because they need money to make quick advancements in their clinical trials and go thru approval processes. Though, it sounds very promising...I can't wait :(
