HBV Viral Load and HepaB Profile Results

Hi Experts & Everyone

Please have a comment on my results:

HBV Viral Load: 3205 IU/ml
ALT: 18 U/L
HBe Ag: Non-Reactive
HBSag: Reactive
Anti-HBe: Reactive

I just want to know I this results requires me to have medication? What are the food/drinks restriction? I'm so disappointed that they declare me unfit for an engineering job.

Thanks in advance for the information.

The doctor gave me a clearance to work without restrictions in an engineering job. He just noted that I will monitor my ALT every 6 months. The ball now is on the company if it accepts my condition. I'll be waiting this next week for the company's reply. Please continue praying for me.

For all of us don't lose hope.

Thanks again

--Not necessarily.  With normal ALT and low HBVDNA, antivirals or IFN may not do much except getting hooked to the drugs like a one-way ticket.

What are the food/drinks restriction?

--The answer is too long.  Read here:

I'm so disappointed that they declare me unfit for an engineering job.

--This is ignorance and discrimination.

if you have famili histrory of HCC, start treatment right away

if you are >40yo start treatment right away

if you are young do not start antivirals but immune modulators first, start antivirals only if history of HCC (liver cancer)

you might also monitor or try nitazoxanide first and see if hbvdna gets down

in your country are missing:
fibroscan to know your liver damage or to monitor that at least once a year (only biopsy available)

you are a volunteer for the medication according to latest guidlines. but we all make our own choices. you may just monitor every 3/6 months
