having it for more than 6 months is considered chronic.. there's much one cant do about it after the 6 months except for a prayer and hope that one day a cure is found..some people go on to clear hbv while chronic.. doctors still dont know why some clear it while acute and why some cant clear it and why the ones that go chronic sometimes can sti clear it ( chance of clearing it is 0.05--2% every year ).

most people who have hbv dont have symptoms.. more like common cold type of symptoms so you cant really tell.. most people find out when going for a routine check up , or donatig blood etc..

wait for you DNA results an list them on here when you got them.. also list your hbsag, hbsab, hbeag, hbeab, hbcab results and ofcourse you also need your liver function stating the ALT and AST results

good luck

well it says you have hepatits B but still cant tell your current status with just this reading.
there are a few other tests you will need to go for.. first you will need to find out if you are acute or chronic . there is a test for that.. you will also need to test for hbsag, hbsab, hbeag, hbeab, hbcab, hbv dna, also liver test for ALT and AST

good luck
