Recently I checked I got result with HBc ab positive what does mean ? With this I can intercourse with my wife ?
Bm2016 has given you very good advice. It does seem you have recovered from a previous Hepatitis B infection and you will not infect others with HBV. Your doctor's advice is correct.
This is the my clear blood test result
HIV ab Ag - negative
Hcv ab - negative
Hbs Ag - negative
Htlv ab- negative
Shiphilis total - negative
Nat HIV hcv HBv - negative
HBc ab - positive
HIV ab Ag - negative
Hcv ab - negative

My docter said hbx Ag negative so no more virus in ur blood so u can intercourse with wife but my wife didn't have HBv
I am not an expert, but from what i understand, HBc AB is just an indication of past or present hbv infection, where positive mean has exposed to the virus, negative mean has not yet expose to virus, does not provide any protection. You would need other bloodwork report to make the result more meaningful. Also have your wife test for hbv and if she is not a carrier, get vacinate as soon as possible
