HBs Ag positive vitamin D deficient (Brij116 please help)

Hi Stef,  Aduiski,  Brij
Today got my vitamin D report it is 19.94, certainly deficient. Which brand vitamin D3 I should buy (India) and what dosage I should take?

Based on following report doctor suggested entecavir 0.50mg. I have not yet started this treatment.

Tomorrow getting HBsAg quantitative

My lab report as on 1 February 2016

I am 46
HBs Ag Reactive
HB E Antigen serum  Non reactive
HB Core Antibodies Total 11.340 Reactive
Viral load 6250
SGPT 140
SGOT 80
All else normal
Ultrasound normal
Upper GI normal

On 12 February 2016 I checked SGPT and SGOT, 69 and 65 respectively.

Experiencing little fatigue and mild stomach upset

Thanks

Even my vit d count was low to 22.my doctor asked me to take lumia 60k capsule once a week for 6 weeks and then one tablet biweekly.my levels became normal with in a month.
Both entacavir and tdf are good for hep b.though people on this thread favour tdf I took entacavir 0.5 mg based on what my doctor suggested.

Hi Stef
I am multiplying on two threads. Will stick to this one now on.

Should I start entecavir treatment?
I have Calcirol sachets with me each satchels 60000 IU. What is the best time to have the sachet. Should I have it daily? Sachet direction says 1 sachet per week.

Have read your reply on other thread.

Thanks a ton,  it's due to you I went for vitamin deficiency and HBs Ag quantitative tests

Thanks a ton again

Thanks Stef
I just bought Calcirol sachet (same as Brij116 is using).  It says 60000IU/GM and a sachet is 1Gm. Can I start with this?  And then later switch to tablets of higher dose?
I just want to start,  want to feel a little better.  I was very active till 20th January 2016, I even did 100km cycle ride in 5 hours on 17th January without any problem. Had stomach ache,  upset in last week of January. Now experiencing fatigue.

If not for you, I would have never done Vitamin D3 deficiency test, I don't understand why my doctor never asked me to do this test and HBs Ag  quantitative test,  and just prescribed Entecavir 0.5mg.

Thanks a ton to you,  you are doing great job.

if vit d is less than 10ng/ml a big dose like 150.000-300.000 to 1.000.000iu is useful and then a maintenance dose 2000 to 10.000iu daily, this is what italian guidelines use

i d go for 10.000iu daily and 150.000iu in a single dose

if you dont have pills at 10.000iu in your local pharmacy buy online from iherb or big online websites
