I think you're fine. Ask your doctor to run the full HepB panel for you have a complete set of record on file for yourself.
My surface antibody IS positive. Thank you. Helps more than you can imagine. Or maybe you CAN imagine.

My guess is that your HepB surface antigen tested negative. One negative is the reference range, the other is your result.
If coupled with surface antibody positive, you are immuned to HepB and not contagious.
