No it can be puzzling as liverpatient said at the same time not puzzling . why ,you may have just contracted the virus less than a month .thats why your hbcab are negative , now try all test again after 3 months , if they shows the same thing then its a lab error ,Change the lab .
I also had a hepatitis B viral load check and it was undetected.
What should I do?
This is how my results showed
HBsAg - Positive
HBsAb - Positive
HBeAg - Negative
HBeAb - Negative
HBcAb - Negative
My doctor concluded I don't have the Hepatitis B virus, so he didn't give me any medication but am just scared.
What do you suggest I do?
As long HBSAG is nonreactive it means you dont have hepatitis B at present... The anti Hbc Igm Reactive is questionable bcoz reactive means current infection within 6 months, so i advise you can hav a second opinion to other laboratory hepatitis profile for confirmatory... but the HBSAG nonreactive is a very good result.
No. HBcAb total is HBcAb Igm and HBcAb Igg. So why should HBcAb Igm be reactive and HBcAb total non-reactive?
