Hep B testing

What is an accurate time to have a antibody test for Hep B?
I have read on the CDC website that it is on average 4 weeks that it will show in your blood from exposure.
Ranges to 1-9 weeks.

But i was wondering of their are any real life situations regarding this from people on the forum.

I had a Hep B antibody test at 8 weeks which was NEG. Should i have another or am i ok?

Thanks

Peter

An 8 week neg puts you in very safe territory.  I would suggest a final test at 13 weeks.  If neg, and i believe it will be, stop worrying and stop testing.
