What kind of Visa are you applying for? What is your current condition?
On a high note there are many Immigrants who have Hep B and are issued Permanent Residence. The decision is made on a case to case bases. With medical inadmissibility there are Mostly two concerns. First, probable transmission to others and second, excessive claim in health services of Canada.
I know when my wife and I were preparing her application for Permanent Residence this is something we were quite concerned with.
However, I do believe that spouses of a sponsor (who is a Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident) applying for permanent residence are exempt from excessive burden hence my question on the type of visa you are applying for. From what I have heard and read on Forums that if your condition is stable that it usually not a problem. However I do not know what is meant by stable.
You may find better answers to rules of immigration on a forum called CanadaVisa, and is also a great source of information for your application.
