Hepa b with high insulin

Hi! If diagnosed with high insulin, is it safe to medicate like taking glucophage? Is it harmful to the liver?

Hi Dee!

I am monitoring my sugar count every 1 hour post meal which is mostly 90% below 120. My a1c is 5.

Sorry, I wish there was an edit key. :)
I meant to say you could first try diet to see if you could do it on your own.

Best of luckDee

Hi Magda you could watch your sugar intake and also take the glucophage.

You could try going on a low carb, no sugar diet first to see if you can manage the diabetes with diet before going on glucophage.

Many doctors put diabetics on medication because they think people can't do it with diet alone.

I have diabetes, has HCV, now SVR, with cirrhosis and I take glucophage

Good luck

It's insulin resistance.

I have normal bmi. Didn't test if fatty liver. Ultrasound says coarse texture liver in normal size and all surrounding organs too.

How could i reverse insulin resistance?

high insuline?

you are probably wrong with the test, maybe you mean high glucose or insuline resistance

the problem is in your diet and vitd deficency and if not too advanced can be easily reversed, do you also have fatty liver and high bmi?
