Hepatitis- Wash own body with bleach

Sorry for my poor english. I was diagnosticated of Chronic HEP B two weeks ago. I have read in internet that household bleach kills the virus. So the last weeks when i touched my own semen or blood i washed up my hands and face with 1:10 bleach with water. My hands are now realy damaging. Is it right to wash parts of my body with bleach. Please, i'm very worried, cause i dont want to transmit the virus to anyone.

No, you shouldn't wash you body or face with bleach. You won't transmit the virus to anyone if you are careful - but you should never use bleach on your skin. That will be absorbed into your body - anything that touches the skin and then the liver acts as a filter.

You can use bleach solution on your sink if you bleed while shaving though.
