Hepatitis B very +ve

I was diagnosed +ve for hep B in 1996 and even then positivity was >3000 and last week i was tested again and I was shocked to learn that the actual value is 7200. What kind of risks do I have and how to minimize them? And how often should I get checked?  Iam negative for both Hbe and anti-hbe. Tested -ve for Hep c and HIV. My sgot and sgpt(liver enzymes I guess) are within normal range( less than 30). All other biochemistry tests are within normal ranges except for Amylase which is about 115.
I think by birth my WBC is low around 3.5.
My kid and wife are both -ve for hbsag and positive for ant-hbs.

Thanks for your quick reply.

you are probably inactive, hbsag value has no meaning unless it is in iu/ml unit, just monitor hbvdna pcr and alt/ast every 6 months.if you have a fibroscan available check fibrosis

also make ultrasound for liver cancer every 6 months

hbv is not dangerous at all until inactive and fibrosis low, you just have to monitor that fibrosis stay low so you don t develop cirrhosis or liver cancer

your family has probably been infected by you if they had no vaccine but they all cleared infection so they are immune now

--7200 and >3000 may not have qualitative difference.

And how often should I get checked?

--Depends on your treatment route.
