What are the tests that am to carry out and how frequent if am diagnosed with positive hepatitise B surface antigen. Thanks

Fibroscan is a very useful test nowadays.

A very informative article/study that explains Fibroscan and its scores, compares it with Biopsy, gives monitoring guidelines for both HBV and HCV and summarizes many important studies findings. I found it very informative and useful. Here is the link below:

The natural history of HBV infection come in phases, so depending on your current conditions and the phase that you are in, different frequencies of monitoring are recommended. The minimum tests you should have regularly are:
liver functions
ALT
hbvdna
HBV serology

At a less frequent basis:
Ultrasound imaging
HBsAg quantitative
Fibroscan
