Hepatitis B

My girls freind has diagonsed with hepatitis b in february 2013, We have done all related test including DNA test.Last test was done on 25th sept 2013, Doctor has told us that viral is not load and all reports are normal, Her blood test shown positive and all the test are normal, what does it mean. Please any one help to find out what reason behind the positve result, What should do to clear the virus from her body.

I shall be highly thankful for your help in this regard.

hbvdna alone is a useless test and define nothing about hbv infection status, its use like this is from very old guidelines when hbsag quant and fibroscan was not available

you need in order of importance:
hbsag quantity in iu/ml
fibroscan
hbv genotype
hbeag/hbeab
ast-alt

and then we can see hbvdna correlated to these tests and say if you can clear hbv definitively by therapy or if therapy is mandatory due to liver damage

by the way for you to understand:
hbvdna even if undetactable show nothing about infection because hbv is not in the blood but in the liver and inside liver cells and this is not reflected by hbvdna test in blood but by hbsag quantity in blood
