Hepatitis b treatment and the drug economics

Am a chronic hepatitis b carrier with low viral low of of 4250 copies after treatment with entercavir which i could not continue  due to cost.I have just been informed of tonofovir by cipla which is a lot lot cheaper and equal very effective. My question is why go on entercavir when its obvious poor people like me cannot afford or sustain it only to drop off later.
How long will i use tonofovir? what is the maximum number of years before your physician  can decide to stop the medication if hep b antibody fail to develop.
Thanks

My question is why go on entercavir
it has virtually no sides for long term therapy, but there is also entecavir generic from rhambaxy india, more potent on hbvdna and hbsag suppression

How long will i use tonofovir?
until hbsag gets negative and until you have no sides

to stop the medication if hep b antibody fail to develop.
when hbsab develops usually drug can be disconinued very slow (6-12 months) with continuous monitor of hbvdna and ultrasound anyway even after discountinued drug
