Increase of liver enzymes after biopsy?

Hello everyone. My brother has hepB and he has been having, since the last 2 years, his ALT and AST in the 100s and 50s, with negative viral DNA (treatment with entecavir)

The doctor performed a fibroscan this month (6.3 kpa, which was a huge relief) and they did in the same day a biopsy... or at least tried, because they "missed" the liver in the biopsy. He was perfurated twice, but they didn't get any sample of the liver (or any) tissue.

10 days after the "biopsy", he did his testing and the results showed that both of his transaminases are 150. Alt was NEVER higher than 60, so is the biopsy the cause of this increase? I can't find any studies or articles relating temporary increase of the liver enzymes after the biopsy and we will only meet with the doctor again in may. Please help me if you have some knowledge on this.

biospy has a mortality of 1 person in 5000, it is not a funny thing to do and it makes some damage which recovers after few weeks
