I had a great week. I got approved for Family Health Plus last week so I started going to the doctor again. I'm thing of trying treating again. I first went to the eye doctor and was told I now need bifocals at 43 years old, that was Tuesday morning. I went to the dentist on Wenseday and was told I need 2 fillings replaced and a root canal and a cleaning. Today I went to my new primary doctor with what paper work I had and a 6 page list of problems by month since September of last year (each month had a lot of the same problems repeated). Besides the seizures, headaches, warm feeling in my head like I am being posioned, upper right & left quad pain and chest pain, abdominal pain, groin pain, enlarged spleen, eenlarged liver and testicle pain which is getting to be a bigger problem. He looks over my list asks some questions feels me and says "this doesn't feel right. I could have told him that and gave me a prescription for a bunch of bood tests. He wants me checked for Testicle Cancer, Leukemia and something involving the Pancreas (i'm a type 22 diabetic). He seemed annoyed that I had gone to the ER in July and they didn't look at any of those problems and told me to go see a gastro. At least this guy seems to know a little more then the ER doctor. Oh well life goes on.

Active Hep B is considered an STD. It can easily be spread by sexual contact. If you have "active" HBV then I would tell a doc right away and get her tested again in 6 weeks....at several months and again for up to a year.
I know it's "hard"(oh man, what a Pun), but if she dodges this bullet then don't let her do that again. You shouldn't be having unprotected sex at ALL if you have "active" hep B.

I know that. I'm kind of releived that at least something is getting done. It's just ironic to me how everything hits at once. I'm taking it in stride. Oh yea one more thing, I stepped on a nail tonight and it went about 1/2 inch into my foot. What a day.

No tetnus shot since the eighties. Thanks for reminding me I wouldn't have thought of it. Is that something your doctor does? I'll have to call in the morning.

Does PMS stand for Pegasys Mental Syndrome? I didn't say I was going anywhere, I just get tired of it.

And we're just good friends, if you must know.

A condom could save your life!

This information is to help you understand why it's important to use condoms (rubbers, prophylactics) to help reduce the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. These diseases include AIDS, chlamydia, genital herpes, genital warts, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, and syphilis. You can get them through having sex -- vaginal, anal, or oral.

The surest way to avoid these diseases is to not have sex altogether (abstinence). Another way is to limit sex to one partner who also limits his or her sex in the same way (monogamy). Condoms are not 100% safe, but if used properly, will reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS. Protecting yourself against the AIDS virus is of special concern because this disease is fatal and has no cure.

About two-thirds of the people with AIDS in the United States got the disease during sexual intercourse with an infected partner. Experts believe that many of these people could have avoided the disease by using condoms.

Condoms are used for both birth control and reducing the risk of disease. That's why some people think that other forms of birth control -- such as the IUD, diaphragm, cervical cap or pill -- will protect them against diseases, too. But that's not true. So if you use any other form of birth control, you still need a condom in addition to reduce the risk of getting sexually transmitted diseases.

A condom is especially important when an uninfected pregnant woman has sex, because it can also help protect her and her unborn child from a sexually transmitted disease.

Note well: Condoms are not 100% safe, but if used properly, will reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS.
