that's good that alt is still abnormal, it means some liver cleaning takes place. Good decision about extending the treatment, you are close to clear.

try to take vitamin d during day time, it is not normal for the body to produce vit d at night and some had sleep disturbance

Thanks guys.
Just think the decline/surface antigen kinetics had become slower and i had hoped that i would have seroconverted by now.
I have taken Vitamin D baseline test this week and had now added vitamin D3 5000iu/ml morning and night for the next two months which will bring intf to 60 weeks.
I will report the final result in two months time.
Regarding Intf beyond what i had approved (60 weeks), i don't think they will agreed to further extension.

optimize your vit d levels as soon as possible and let us know the levels, too bad we dont have data on d levels and peg sides effects but i guess inflammatory state can be improved by vit d levels.also check that you have real virgin oliv oil in your diet since vdr attachment of vit d requires also oleic acid (gcmaf+oleic acid+vit d)

i d go for the 2 years of pegintf if you can tollerate tireness

Extending the treatment as long as the hbsag is falling makes sense, even if it is beyond 60 weeks, if you can tolerate it. It is of cause also possible that the downward trend will continue even after ifn stop. There is not much else that you can do at this point, I assume your vit d levels are already optimized.
