Is sun good for HBVers?

Skin exposure to the sun promotes synthesis of vitamin D, therefore getting some sunshine seemes tpbe a good thing for HBVers however spme studies suggest that UV suppresses immune system impairing T-cell function and can lead to relapse of some virus infections

http://www.who.int/uv/health/uv_health2/en/index3.html

"Several studies have demonstrated that exposure to environmental levels of UV radiation alters the activity and distribution of some of the cells responsible for triggering immune responses in humans. Consequently, sun exposure may enhance the risk of infection with viral, bacterial, parasitic or fungal infections, which has been demonstrated in a variety of animal models".

Any thoughts on this subject?

you only need 10 mins a day of sunshine to make 2000unit of vitamin D.  Hardly enough to alter immune system. you cannot overdose from sunshine derived vitamin D.

sun is god and boosts immune system, of course moderation is what matters here, too much sun will damage skin and immune system but as long as there is no sun burn there is only benefit

sun burn of skin releases many cytokines which triggers inflammation and lowers immune system, normal sun exposure with no sun burn increases vit d production and immune system activity protecting from cancer and other diseases
