LIV 52 HB

hello,

I just wonder about this new drug from Himalaya. I know this company it´s kinda weird, and I don´t trust them at all (none of the drug companies actually), but the advertising says it "eliminates" the hbv virus, wich is very serious to affirm.

the component they use are:
cyperus rotundus
cyperus scariosus

anyone familiar with these herbs and their effects on hbv? I know some hbver´s had higher viral load using the Liv.52, but not this HB versionj.

I may be sort of naive but there´s still hope inside of me.

cheers to ya all

*this is not a publicity at all for any kind of drugs or companies.

I did some research and found this articles about the components from this drug.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18158839

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?term=%22cyperus%20scariosus%22%20liver

they´re not phyllanthus extract and they differ from the others liv 52 formulas.
would be nice some trials/studies with hbv.

liv52 is the best selling drug here in india for hepatitis A and people with hep B 've also been trying even it has no effect on hbsag but little effect on hbvdna and making the himalayan company a billion dollar company in india.

so they are now trying to reach the two billion dollar club by the liv52 HB, introduced few days back. no trials. so it's kinda stupid stuff. nothing but some extract of phyllanthus.
