I'm 22, adopted and was born in China. I contracted Hep B via mother-to-child birth because of lack of vaccines. I'm also a queer lesbian who's open about sex and enjoys having sex with multiple partners.
I'm looking for support because I haven't found any anywhere about being a lesbian with Hepatitis B. Obviously a big part of lesbian sex is going down and eating out, but with Hep B if they haven't had the vaccination or they don't know, I don't want them to go down if they're uncomfortable with it. Which makes for things like: ruined one night stands, lack of someone coming home with me, no spontaneous sex, people freaking out on me in bed. I haven't been gone down on in the longest time and I really miss it. I realize and know there are dental dams, and that safety is sexy, but let's be honest- it's really not the same for either person.
Are there any other lesbians out there with Hep B who have figured anything out or can at least sympathize with me? Or give me other queer resources for Hep B and sex?
