Natural Treatments for Hep B?

Hi all,

I am not undergoing any treatment (I am precore) inactive though, at the moment.  I wanted to know if anyone has tried any special natural treatments such as homeopathy or chinese herbal medicine to help their body fight this disease.  After reading the book, "Natural Cures by Kevin Trudeau" it's hard not to believe there is a natural cure out there for all of our diseases but off course the FDA doesn't want us to know about them b/c it's all about money.  In the end, the patients lose unforunately.  I believe there is a time and place for drugs and surgery especially if it's something fatal.

I wanted to know if anyone here has tried and had success with any natural treatments.

Thanks in advance

anybody here takes milk thistle but not for hbv because it has no effects on hbv and we have seen no effect, we take it for liver support only

be aware there are many spamers from philippines and africa that appear from time to time trying to sell herbs that have no effect on hbv.all adults clear hbv by 6-12months by immune system while all chronic carriers are infected from birth and can clear only by tenofovir or entecavir for long time and then peginterferon add on, time needed 5 years minimum

last may this year when i found out about me being infected with HBV,and the doctor certified that i am a chronic carrier and you said all that no symptoms to chronic patients, but why to me for almost 4 months that i am aware of it,i almost experienced all the symptoms,is it possible that I am in acute infection only?I'm hoping though..

You are wrong. Based on the tests you have shown your HepB is resent infection. Basically within six months from May 2012. Your HepB core Igm was weakly reactive..

So your western doctor have missed acute HepB.. (don't worry you are not alone in America they missed mine too)

So your jaundice probably has resolved as your immune system have gotten some control over the virus.

In order to test the effectiveness of  herbs one must do base line blood tests before and after starting treatment to see.. if it works..

That is great news, thanks for sharing.

I wonder how many doctors that do research pay attention to this forum. And particularly endeavors you have taken to fight HBV. And contribute to the HepB cure.

I believe too based on my own internet research that the regiment you are doing is the best to treat the disease until cure comes. Not just antivirals but a complete body support solution with antioxidants.

I will look into Heptech. Because they are here in LA also.

My problem is to be able to find a doctor that is doing a real research and practicing it with HBV here in states.

Doing product testing for drug companies (so called clinical trials) is not really research. Gilead could have done better on their own, for far less cost. By just giving this medication to volunteers like me without any conditions. To speed up the testing process.

It is not just in the US this needs to be done, but world wide. Introduction of cures for deadly viruses and cancers and clinical trials should be done on a rapid schedule. With a larger pool of people.

well my cirrhosis regressed in 1.5years, too fast for antiviral

it was due to etv+heptech+ diet changes with antioxidants and antifibrotic food too

interactions of milk thistle and antivirals?

i dont think there is any study to prove this, HR (hepatitis researcher) posted in the past to avoid milk th. just for extra security when hbvdna is detactable and start it when und

i ve used it all along and had no problems and still using it since it is a component of heptech pills

As for herbal treatments. There seem to be reports on chanca piedra and mayetake (grifola) that acts on hbv reportedly. But yet there is no data available. Meaning actual.blood tests as proof.

This is  something you would expect from the chinese and indian gurus to post and share.

it is our immune system to do the damage

pls dont post false info, hbv is benigne for most carriers and has no symptoms, very very few get symptoms when acute and cleared in few months.chronic carriers have no symptoms from hbv at all and fatigue is due to immune system failure to clear hbv not by hbv itself, hbv itself makes no damage

Hi everyone,
im vince and from west Africa Ghana, i know what u lot r going through with this disturbing virus. i wanted to get immunized that was when i found out that i have HBV so i did HBv profile test to know how much the disease has spread and mine is HBVagt (HBV Agant) which means its the earliest stage of the disease. Since am a science student, am not going to bore u with all science big words so i'll go straight to the point.
you should know this virus behaves like HIV virus, it'll fight ur immune system till it gives up on the virus to spread. Some of u r saying milk thistle helps, its true but alone cannot cure it. u should also know that viruses cannot be cured within man unless ur immune system fights it for u, the thymus gland (which is located
within the upper chest) is large  in  infants  but  atrophies  as we grow
old, "The  thymus  gland has always been  responsible of controlling the immune system, Which i've also red an article this Doctor who used Thymus tissue extract supplement, Multivitamins supplement and plus 25,000 units beta carotene to Boost the immune system to fight and cured his Heb B. First pls do the HBV profile test to know if its chronic or not. some people's might be carriers it means u were born with it, its not infectious and if its chronic these are the signs:
        SYMPTOM            % OF PATIENTS
        Dark Urine ........................ 94
        Fatigue ........................... 91
        Loss Of Appetite .................. 90
        Nausea ............................ 87

5 years before i was diagnosed with H hepatitis B but DNA-(PCR Qualitative) was negative. now it is back with more intensity and this time DNA-(PCR Qualitative) has shown with detective results. my liver functions r very close to normal values, though little disturbed.
i am almost working on normal routine(though my work dont include lots of physical activities)
kindly suggest me any herbal or natural remedy to cure. i dont want to be on elopethic medications as they r long term and full with other complications.
kindly post here a healthy diet plan or food items which help to improve my health conditions, so that there will be a full stop to further complications bcoz of this viral.
i am thankful to u all.
