hello stef, u said  i can sue those doctors, and here is one of the complainer from KP, and made me laugh. =D

If you have something that is easy to detect and treat then you will probably be ok at Kaiser. The medications they use will be old, but you'll be fine.

If they can not detect what's wrong, prepare for a long trip to hell. They will prescribe pill after pill and if nothing works eventually you will end up on morphine with no plan to ever take you off. They do not care about finding the solution.  They will never give you a referral to UCSF or Stanford or if they do it will be for a consultation only just to appease you. If UCSF or Stanford have a plan to get you well, Kaiser will not let you go even if they don't offer the same drugs or treatment and have no plan themselves because it cost money and especially now with it being a recession, all they are thinking about is money, not people.

This is what  has happened to my mother. She was  ill for over  a year and slowly dying at the hands of Kaiser.

Dr. Joe Wong (Primary), Dr. Craig Hou, Dr. Majood and Dr. Chen (all in Neurology) are heartless, cruel and unethical doctors. God help you if you seek care from any of them or any doctor at Kaiser. A doctor that works for them basically has to sell their soul to the devil. Please do your research. You will find countless horror stories on line about Kaiser "care". You can not sue Kaiser and they are in bed with Congress so good luck getting help from anyone if they harm you.

I think that if you find no cirrhosis by fibroscan you can sue those doctors at least for the stress and scare of this

If you find cirrhosis check what i did other than antiviral to regress it fast, then you follow improvement by fibroscan evry 6 months

NO biopsy mandatory, it is no accurate at all, fibroscan is the most accurate to detect cirrhosis and to stage it
biopsy is going to damage liver for what?nad it has a risk of death, low , but why to risk?

Although us doctors have little experience on fibroscan, other countries use it since 10years and more and dont use biopsy anymore

Terry, first of all, make your insurance. Go to marketplace Obamacare online and be sure you have insurance for you, do not drop insurance never, since we are sick we need it. They will bring very fast a new ID card, and than decide where to go. It is not a rush to do biopsy, maybe you don't need it. I would prefer to do MRI, it is very very accurate,it included fibroscan as well. All you have to pay is $20. Good Luck!

If you have the posibility there and it doesnt cost to much, i would suggest to do a fibroscan first...for cirrhosis, it's acuracy is higher, for fibrosis stage 1 or 2 it may not be so accurate. If fibroscan shows fibrosis f3/f4 go for biopsy, but if its showing f1
.f2, you may not need biopsy .

First did you done fibroscan??
If no ask him to do this.if not available in your country'if I were you I do biopsy by this way you know exactly what happen.
Could you please share your tests results?your ultrasound report by this way members here could give you more detail on necessity of biospy
