Need suggestion from anybody

Hai,

One of my friend recently tested liver function test. and the results are below:
SGOT:32.1, SGPT:60, Direct billurubin: 2.3.

That pathalogist advised him to ruled out jaundice.

Please clarify whether that value indicate just jaundice or its related to Hep-B

Regards,
Rajagopal

what are you looking for?blood tests are extremely poor indicators of liver function and liver damage.these tests are usually normal on cirrhosis and liver cancer......

hbsag quant in iu/ml, hbvdna pcr and fibroscan and ultrasound are the most important tests to know where your liver stands after these tests like alt/ast. bil, PT and platlets can just give a better picture but all tests are needed
