as regards your case you have no flare but relatively low alt.in your case you can rule out what it is from hbsag quant in iu/ml and following hbeag and hbvdna
by next month you should see a rise in alt and a decline of hbsag, hbvdna.if this does not happen, especially hbvdna/hbsag lowering it is going chronic
HBC IGM POSItive can bee seen in Chronic hep B patients. Especially if there is a flair or chronic Active . So Igm Anti Hbc doesnt rule out chronic condition.
this is extremely rare and it does rule out that the infection just happened, in clinical practice never happens whatver the flare of chronic patient even at 1500-2000
keep in mind there is an amount of wrong data around from decades ago when there was no real data collection and theories were reported as real
also the hbcab igm quantitative is very different
this fact applies to all viral infections, igm is for recent infections then it all goes to igg
HBC IGM POSItive can bee seen in Chronic hep B patients. Especially if there is a flair or chronic Active . So Igm Anti Hbc doesnt rule out chronic condition.
To my understanding also:
HBC IGM pos= Acute
HBC IGM Neg= Chronic
Stef can correct me on this.
no only acute hbcab igm is positive, it is hbcab igg to be positive on chronic
Hello Stef,
What I know is that Hep B Core Ab, IgM is positive in both acutes and chronics
Hep B Core Ab, IgM Positive
you are acute for now but you need rest and a lot of vit d3 and vitamin c to help your immune system to clear infection, it takes from 6 to 12 months to clear it and 98% of adults with competent immune system do
eat healthy and take from 5000 to 10.000iu of vit d3, liposomal vit c from livonlabs 3g daily to help your immune system
Hello,
Nobody can say now if you are acute or chronic with the above information.
However, I am sorry but I think you are chronic. Your results are very very similar to mine.
The high ALT and AST shows that your immune system is fighting with the virus. However, the high HBV DNA shows that this fight is not in favor of you.
Your HBEAG is positive, this means that the virus replicating itself fast (we can also understand this with the very high number of HBV DNA).
Now what you should do is;
1. Find a professional doctor. Because you will walk on a very long way with him.
2. Test your
- qHBSAG (the actual presence of the virus inside you. The name of the test is HBSAG in terms of QUANTITIY. This test is very important)
- Fibroscan (It seems like Ultrasound. It will tell you about your liver status. It is very important to learn that if you are cirrhosis or how close or far to cirrhosis.)
- AFP (it will show you that if you are cancer. Do not worry, 95% have no cancer)
- Vitd25oh (your Vitamin D level. Most of HBV patients are Vit D deficit. It is important to fight with the virus)
3. Do not panic or stressed with the high numbers. As I said before, my numbers were very similar with your. For example, My HBV DNA was 557 000 000 iu/ml (557 million) 6 months ago (when first diagnosed that I am HBV patient). I am on Entecavir treatment for 6 months and HBV DNA is just 430iu/ml.
4. Eath healthy (no meat at this time. eath a lot of vegetables and fruits. Drink a lot of water. No alcohol, coco cola or something else, no smoke)
5. Live health (go to bad early, get up early, do exercise at least 1 hour a day. Walking and swimming are perfect. Get rid of weights)
6. Pry for all patients
7. Discuss the treatment options with the doctor.
Do not worry, HBV will not affect your live comfort if you do what I said above.
you have just to check after 2or 3monthes then after at 6monthes you should repeat all the previous test to see if it is accute or chronic, because hep
the diagnostic will be easy after, because you have data before
if its accute after 3monthes (i think you wll developpe hbsab)if it is chronic there ill be no hbsag and you will need treatement
just you have to do monitoring during 6monthes
good luck
1st, do you have the erg to have sex?
2nd, you have a extremely high numbers! You may have progressed to Hep-C, I would get with a good GI (EXPERT) AT ANY Hepatitis Doc. and get a full panel, plus a Viral load count, [its done through blood work]! The treatment you went through may be the reason for sex drive! Do not listen to the DOCTOR, tell him what you want checked! Im going to add you as a friend, and please let me know any up-dates you have. By the way, 24 to 48 hrs on the panel test, 7 to 10 days on the viral load, to come back!
