hbvdna undetactable is useless to clear virus, the virus is integrated in human dna by cccdna inside the liver cells so even getting hbvdna und in the blood the infection goes on inside the cells with cccdna duplicating with liver cells duplication

you have to check hbsag quantity in iu/ml which reflects quantity of cccdna inside liver cells, if it is lower than 1500iu/ml there might be chances with interferon+alinia, the other antivirals are useless because active on hbvdna only

my suggestion is wait if liver has no damage because there are really no drug to clear hbv now.interferon clears in 11% by 5 years if hbsag is low as 1500iu/ml, really too little to justfy all sides effects and cost

replicor, gcmaf or alinia might be able to clear hbv in a good number of patients but we have to wait and see if there are trials and results

So what if I wanted to start treatment to possibly get rid of this disease or even bring to become undetectable?

in any case it is a very low viral load, this means no liver damage if continuatively this way for years with alt less than 30

that test alone says almost nothing about hbv infection.it is not the number of virions and infection goes on even if hbvdna is undetactable, that value goes up and down by itself so it must be interpreted with all other tests.
the main test is fibroscan because it is the only one that can show liver damage

check here all the tests needed
