Simvastatin & Entecavir, Who has Tried This, Or Seen Studies

Hi,  I was recently diagnosed with Chronic Hep B, I'm on Baraclude now, and have been on Crestor (Rosuvastatin ) for the last 10 years.

If it's better for me to change to Simvastatin (Zocor, Vytorin), I'm all for it, but want to know if there's evidence out there. I've only found mention of one study that wrapped last year, but no results from it.

Any info will be appreciated.

on me entecavir+simvastatin had no effect ton hbsag, tried it for about 3months

no study for its activity on hbv, we do know it has activity but the trial has never started

simvastatin lowers hcc 50% and prevents fibrosis/cirrhosis so it is indicated on all hbver, this has thousands of pateints studied for decades to find this data on hcc

you better use simvastatin instead other statins, also ezetimibe has in vitro effect on hbv so these are the best choices on hbvers
