Symptom Time

I believe i had a low risk exposure where a woman touched her privates before touching mine. After 3 weeks i get this skin thing that looks and feels just like sunburrn on my neck and face. then 2 weeks after that i feel abit itchy. No CDC says symptoms start on average 90 days after exposure. So would it be safe to say these symptoms i'm having aren't hep b related?

hehe don't scare the guy.  Really if you caught something from the risk you describe I would be shocked.  The rash and itching could be related to so many things.  It could be something simple as irritation or it could be anxiety.  Nevertheless follow up with your doctor but I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.

that's probably herpes virus 2 which attacks genitals in particular, herpes 1 mouth and face or another sexual related virus but not hepatitis viruses.in any case just make the test for hbv and hcv since they have no synthoms the only way to know if you ever got them during your life is a blood test

there is only one oral antiviral that works for herpes 1 and don't know about herpes 2, that is farmciclovir or similar name anything else doesn't work

herpes viruses multiply in the liver too but they are not dangerous at all, anytime your immune system is down they can come back but nothing to worry about.herpes 1 is very common about 90% of the people in the world has antibodies for it, herpes 2 is less popular fortunately

Most likely not HEP B unless you had body fluids on your hand and you had a cut or some sort on your penis before hand.... If you want to check then you can and you can get your results back.

Did anything happen after the touching?

I really have no idea why you would assume hep b from itchy skin and rash.

Please cosult your doctor but its not hep b related.

Please be patient with me. The reason for my questions is because after my so called exposure i got some tingling and discomfort in my groin area then my scrotum became a red color then the sunburn rash came on. I was reading about rashes and hep b. How does the rash and itching relate to hep b? and would an infection cause skin problems at the site of infections say the genital area?      thanks
