Tenefovir vs Baraclude

Ok guys should I try Viread? Is it actually better then Entecavir?

The charts I have looked viral suppression seems to be similar. So what gives here?

I have been taking baraclude 0.5mg daily  for six years.. as soon as I stop it virus comes back really strong.

I was suggested to try/switch to Tenofovir.. but I am worried about kidney problems..

My Hbsag levels are unknown to me this test in not available in America. DNA is suppressed, but I did developed fatty liver..

I am back on baraclude. Treatment was stopped last year. But VL in just three weeks went to 300.000 copies.

They wanted to give me Tenofovir but the kidney issues  people report with Viread made me not try it.

why do you wnat to switch from Entecavir to Tenofovir ?
It is only because in the moment that you stop Entecavir you have a increase in your HVB DNA?

of course you have to monitor kidneys (creatinine claerance) once every 1/2 months.. but TDF is much more effective and no resistance issue
