Test Results Hep B

On Feb 2nd I engaged in unprotected rectum intercourse with a women of unknown status. I tested for Hep a b and c

twice the last time being August 7th and it was negative. The reason why I am so concerned is because

I have abdominal pain under my right rib cage, dark urine that has a bad odor to it. I also have severe aches

and pains throughout my body. I was taken to my local ER because I had severe abdominal pain and the

doctor said my Pancreas enzymes were high. I have an appointment with a Gastro doctor the 12th of this

month. Can hep b and c take longer for the anti bodies to show up in 6 months> meaning can it take an additional

3 months? for it to show up if I have it etc.
Thank you for your time

Having high pancreas enzymes means you have pancreatitis.....an inflammation of the pancreas which is usually caused by gallstones or by drinking too much alcohol.

The pancreas secretes digestive enzymes into the small intestine.   These enzymes help digest fats, proteins, and carbohydrates in food.  Normally, digestive enzymes do not become active until they reach the small intestine, where they begin digesting food. But if these enzymes become active inside the pancreas, they start "digesting" the pancreas itself.

Your doctor may need to do an ultrasound to see if you have gallstones.

Usually, you should be fine if August 7 test said all negative.  Have a doctor follow you.

Best.
